The land of all things Ella. The inhabitants of Ellaland have varied intersts and they are just bursting at the seams to share with you all their insights about various things under the sun.
Ellaland has 5 main inhabitants who are more than happy to share their knowledge, views, and experiences with you as they help Ella find that oh so perfect shade of red lipstick to stain coffee mugs while reading bestsellers in coffee shop.
You will most likely find the Gypsy exploring the sights, scenes and cultures around the coffeeshops and cafes that The Gobbler found, and would sometimes regale you with stories and tips about her vagabond life, whether for a short term or long term trip. The Gypsy will also regale you with stories of living abroad for long periods of time, whether to study or to work, or even both. She’s also an expert packer, especially as she travels, so I’m sure you’ll pick up a thing or two from her adventures!
The Geek has different obsessions, most of them tech oriented. She is one big Apple fangirl and not shy about it. She has been raving about iPads since she picked up the very first one back in 2010 and she will be more than happy to give you tips and tricks to maximizing that fabulous piece of tech, especially during her various travels with The Gypsy! She’s also obsessed with taking photos and she might be persuaded to introduce you to the different cameras she owns. However, she is also an old soul, she spends an obscene amount on stationery so be prepared to read all about it!
The Gobbler’s job is to find that perfect cup of steaming hot coffee and the most indulgent dessert to go along with it. But who are we kidding, as long as it’s edible , the gobbler will be happy to try out that delicacy or cuisine.
The Genius talks about different media from books to art and even movies and tv shows! She is just one couch potato, that one. She sometimes wear the hat of The Bookworm who looks for the next bestsellers to indulge in. That girl practically lives in bookstores and coffee shops! The Genius also took an art appreciation class once in Uni and she sometimes fancies herself The Artisan. As the Artisan, she pretends to know all about the wonderful world of arts and arts and crafts!
Ella, otherwise known as the Goddess, will most likely be telling you about her personal life and insights to know more about the Goddess, she also sometimes fancies herself Glamorous, with her red lipstick, she’s unstoppable. As the Glamorous, she will be the head in charge in finding that perfect shade of red lipstick, and along the way, will have an ear out for other makeup related stuff, and the perfect OOTDs to compliment it.
There are other inhabitants at Ellaland which would occasionally appear and say hello.
Okay, seriously now, welcome to my personal blog. My name is Ella and this blog will be an online journal of sorts. I originally set this blog up to document my life’s biggest passions, i.e. travelling, reading, eating and gadgets.
This blog was set up a couple of years ago with the full intent of going live and going strong! However, as we all know, things don’t always go along as planned. I’ve encountered several monumental blocks along the way, and meanwhile, I guess life happened!
I guess, somewhere along the way our realities have changed. While practically the whole world is on lockdown, I guess I’ve run out of excuses to actually sit down and get on this blog. so here we are.
