Even before the CoVID19 Pandemic hit, I’ve carried an essentials Hygiene/Medicine Kit around with me. Because of the SARS outbreak in Hong Kong back in 2006, I’ve always carried a pack like this, especially the hand sanitizers and tissues.
It has been my habit to ensure that all my bags have a small bottle of hand sanitizers, but because of the recent CoVID 19 outbreak, it has been increasingly difficult to find these sanitizers in small, travel friendly bottles. One way around this is to refill any empty hand sanitizer bottle you may have, or if you don’t have any, you can get one from Muji in different sizes!
Because of the pandemic, I have decided to put everything in a pack that I can switch from one purse to the other, depending on what I want to use for that particular day.
I would like to share with you this mini pack I have with my essentials, and you can tweak it depending on your own particular needs!
I am using this totally awesome Harry Potter pouch I got from Typo (I get most of my pouches from Typo) to store all my hygienic and first aid essentials:
My Kit has the following items:
Hygienic/Pandemic essentials:
1. Hand Sanitizer/Alcogel – in a small travel sized bottle
2. Ziplock with a disposable surgical mask and rubber gloves – just in case I need to change the mask I am wearing, and need to use the gloves too
3. A pack of tissues and wet wipes – i ran out of wet wipes, so i just have the one.
4. Hand lotion – the alcogel dries out my hand so I like having a non-greasy hand lotion to moisturize my hands.
First Aid
1. Inhaler – I have asthma, and wearing the masks for long periods of time causes me to have a hard time breathing, so nowadays I rarely go out without my inhaler.
2. Panadol – for headaches
3. Mentholated creams – to relieve my headaches/ queasiness
4. After bite – salve in case i get bitten by insects – I am always prone to this, so I always have this in my bag.
5. Tampons
