I got this idea from reading Maine Mendoza’s personal blog where she details what she’s currently feeling, reading, thinking, or basically an update of what she’s currently into.
I thought it was a good way to give updates to one’s life, especially at this time of CoVID 19 pandemic and the seemingly never ending social distancing that is fast becoming the new normal nowadays.

Re-reading Laura Esquivel’s Like Water For Chocolate. I was a wide-eyed naive college sophomore when I first picked this up, and I loved it. I loved the sensual intricacies that was subtly incorporated in each food entry, but I was young then. I wanted to see if my perspective has changed a decade and a half later.
Currently Feeling
Really proud and happy. It was my little cousin, Mikael’s Middle School graduation last week and one of my friends who’s met him too has commended on how he’s grown up to be a fine young man. Very respectful and very friendly, and I just can’t help but feel happy and proud of him.

Sweet Magnolias from Netflix – oh my gosh, This was randomly suggested to me on Netflix and I was bored one evening last week. I was instantly hooked! I can’t wait for Season 2, but I heard due to production delays caused by the Pandemic, Season 2 might not be ready until 2022. I don’t know how I will satisfy myself til then. Maybe I will read the books that inspired the series?

I am currently listening to Lewis Capaldi on Spotify. I am obsessed with his single, Someone You Loved. It just hit me right where it hurts.

Leche flan cups! I am obsessed with it. I recently learned how to make them and I can’t seem to stop. I’m sure The Gobbler will share the recipe once she’s tweaked it to perfection, and until then, I’m not complaining at all!

This Hogwarts Alumni Pandora charm I have recently picked up! I’m loving it! I already have the Harry Potter charm and I’m trying my best to restrain myself from picking up the whole collection in one go!
